Browsing through the thoughts that are being sent (rather publicly) to the mother of a fallen soldier, a lot of people left memories and sincere compliments. A lot of it was very mushy and Hallmarky, and those things certainly have their place.
But I think that one of the most moving things that was said was by a fellow soldier.
"Rest easy soldier. Your work is done. We'll take it from here."
